Street Car Showdown

Close to 4,000 spectators are expected this month at the 25th annual Street Car Showdown in Green Valley. The show is hosted by the Cruizin? Car Club.

Green Valley acting police chief, said the goal would be to have more than 700 hot rods, custom cars, muscle cars, trucks and motorcycles at the event.

Among the cars expected at the show are a No. 16 Ford Fusion C.O.T. Car from NASCAR Sprint Cup Series, driven by Greg Biffle and sponsored by 3M.

Vendors and concessions will be on the grounds as well as disc jockey playing ?cool classic tunes.?
